Interstate Nineteen

Airstreams newest touring coach takes the popular Interstate and wraps it in a smaller package. The Interstate Nineteen has all the features that have made Interstate EXT a best-seller but now in a smaller and more manageable 19-foot body.

Exterior

The new Interstate Nineteen is 5 feet shorter than the Interstate Grand Tour EXT, with an exterior length of 19’ 5”. This shorter length and smaller wheelbase make for car-like handling, great for city driving. One of the biggest complaints amongst Interstate owners was parking. Typically you would need to use two parking spaces, now the Nineteen fits nicely in a standard parking space.

Interior

The interior of the Nineteen keeps all the same amenities as found in the standard Interstate, yet is still open and spacious. With standard features like Corian® countertops and Italian wood crafted cabinetry. A powered rear sofa converts into a comfortable bed and is the largest in its class. The Nineteen also features a spacious bathroom with Truma furnace and water heater for unlimited hot water.

Chassis

The Interstate Nineteen is built on the Mercedes-Benz 2500 chassis. Unlike the Interstate EXT which is on the 3500 chassis and uses dual rear-wheels. The Nineteen also has a shorter 144” wheelbase compared to the 170” Interstate EXT. The Nineteen is offered in both a standard 2WD as well as an optional on-demand 4×4 system which can be activated with just the push of a button. The Nineteen is also equipped with standard safety features like Mercedes-Benz Load-Adaptive ESP® system, collision prevention assist, rear- and side-view cameras, and driver and passenger front and side airbags.
