5 Summer Events to Attend with your RV
Summer is a great time to hit the road in your RV and explore some great events going on across the country. Owning an RV gives you the ability to travel with the comforts of home and enjoy experiences that would not be possible otherwise. Below you will find a list of some RV friendly events to attend this summer.
Winnebago Grand National Rally
The Grand National Rally is the annual gathering and celebration of Winnebago RVs and their owners. 2019 will mark the 50th Anniversary of the Grand National Rally. The event takes place from July 22nd thru July 27th in Forest City, IA. This is a great opportunity to join other club members with the same interests. Activities at the rally include Educational Seminars, Vendor Exhibits, Craft/Hobby Classes, Live Entertainment, and more!

The Peach Music Festival
The Peach Music Festival relatively new festival that takes place in Scranton, PA from July 25 – 28, 2019. The lineup includes folk and classic rock headliners like Zac Brown Band, Willie Nelson, The Allman Brothers Band and more. On-site RV Passes are very limited, but off-site parking is available. Wastewater removal will be available for a fee but there are no Electrical hook-ups available.

Jimmy Buffett Concert
Grab that lost shaker of salt and head for one of the most popular concert tailgate parties. For years Parrotheads (Jimmy Buffett fans) have enjoyed this island themed tailgate party before each concert. Tour dates start in July and go throughout the summer, don’t forget your flipflops. RV parking is available, but check with specific venue for details.

NEMBAfest
If you are into Mountain Biking this one is a can’t miss. NEMBAfest is the biggest Mountain Bike Festival on the East Coast! With over 90 vendors from across the bike industry, over 4000 attendees, and over 100 miles of trails. The festival takes place at Kingdom Trails in East Burke, VT June 28-30, 2019. RV camping is available at the expo but your RV must be less than 25 feet in length.

Burning Man
Once a year, tens of thousands of people gather in the desert to create, a temporary metropolis dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance. The event takes place August 25 – September 2, in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Taking an RV to this event will require you to be living off the grid as well as prepping you RV for the desert environment.
