The New York City North / Newburgh KOA offers local farm markets, Nearby outdoor activities and less than 75 miles to New York City. They offer sightseeing tours of NYC that leaves from KOA (May – October) and includes stops at the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and Times Square. If you like to stay close by you can Visit West Point, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s home, Orange County Choppers, and local wineries.

Cumberland Bay State Park

Cumberland Bay State Park is on the west shore of Lake Champlain. Located minutes off Interstate 87 in Plattsburgh, New York. It is very popular with campers and day-users because of its large natural sand beach and picnic grounds with tables and grills. The campground is pet friendly but must have proof of current rabies vaccination, certificate inoculation, or dated collar tag.

Sites are sandy and mostly in the pines, with great view of the lake. While they do have electric hook-up (30 AMP), water is only available at the dump station and various water spigots throughout the park. Clean bathhouses and showers.

Southwoods RV Resort

Southwoods RV Resort is located just outside Rochester, NY and a little over 30min from Lake Ontario. Area attractions include Darien Lake Amusement park, vineyards, and local wineries. They also offer Live Entertainment at the campground on select days.
