The new 2019 models offers several new upgrades and features.
Upgrades in the new Flying Cloud
The 2019 Flying Cloud has been upgraded like most of the Airstream line. In years past, there have been options for the travel trailer which you would require you to pay more, but some of the most popular optional features have been made standard with this year’s model. In particular, the Flying Cloud now comes standard with a rearview camera. This is going to make backing in your spot much more easy with a 30 foot long travel trailer.
Additionally, you’ll also get an electric powered patio awning that comes standard now with your Airstream Flying Cloud. It comes standard on a few other models too, but if you’re interested in one of the 21 available floor plans for the Flying Cloud, then this could be exciting for you. Since the Flying Cloud has so many different floorplans, you’ll never have to worry if your particular floorplan is going to be able to house a powered patio awning. It’s just standard.
What’s new in 2019 model:
- 3-year transferable limited warranty*
- 3 years of Coach-Net roadside assistance
- Hanging wardrobes in all twin bed floorplans

Why Choose a Flying Cloud?
The Flying Cloud has been one of the most popular travel trailers available in decades. As a result, you’ll see hundreds across the country and world in your travels. Knowing that the Flying Cloud has been designed to be functional, flexible and lightweight could help you decide that it’s the trailer for you. It’s an ideal fit for families, as some of the floorplans can sleep up to 6 people. There are even bunk bed options.
We hear many Airstreamers asking questions like “What’s the difference between a Flying Cloud and an International Signature series?” or “What about the International Serenity?”. Well, it really comes down to the décor. The Flying Cloud and International series have the same structure when it comes down to the base configurations for the floorplans. However, the interior décor varies between the three trailers. You might find that the Flying Cloud interior is perfect for you. If you want something a little more posh and luxurious, then you might consider the International series. Different Aesthetics, Same Airstream Quality!
