As you may already know, RV manufacturers choose a van or truck chassis as a platform to build their motorhome on. Whether they choose a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as the chassis, or a Chevy Express Van… this platform is what the motorhome will be built on. One of the newest additions to Winnebago Industries’ fleet is the Ram ProMaster chassis.

Winnebago is the first RV manufacturer to build a Class C motorhome on the new Ram ProMaster chassis with a V6 Pentastar gas engine. The RamPromaster Chassis has a GVWR of 9,350 lbs, six air bags in the cab for added safety, and best in class cab ergonomics and visibility. The affordable new Itasca Viva! delivers peppy, fuel-efficiency and comfortable living space for up to six people. Other features include energy-saving LED lighting and soft, easy-to-clean Ultraleather™ furniture.

Winnebago is also the first RV manufacturer to build a Class B motorhome on the new Ram ProMaster chassis. The first Class B built on the Ram ProMaster chassis is the Travato. At just under 21′ long, the Travato is incredibly agile. The Travato also provides amazing fuel efficiency. With swivel cab seats, LED ceiling lights, standard touch-screen navigation, a split dinette, and an abundance of features. The Travato delivers a whole lot of fun!
