First Look: 2021 Winnebago Solis

The 2021 Solis is an all-new Class B camper van from Winnebago. From the mountains to the beach, the Solis is designed to adapt to any adventure and any budget. Below are some of the main features that make the Solis a great motorhome for any adventure big or small.

Ram ProMaster® Chassis

The Winnebago Solis is built on the proven and reliable Ram ProMaster® 2500 Chassis. With an exterior length of only 19’9″ the Solis is nimble, easy to drive, and can go places most RVs can’t. The 280-hp, 3.6L V6 gas engine with 6-speed automatic transmission provides a great blend of power and fuel efficiency. A trailer hitch and 4-pin wiring connector also come standard.

Pop-Up Top

One of the biggest things that make the Solis different from other Winnebago motorhomes is the introduction of a pop-top. The fiberglass pop-top easily extends to provide an additional 52″x79″ sleeping area designed for two. The sleeping area can be accessed throught the interior hatch with the provided ladder and features zip windows with screens, perfect for a summer night sleeping under the stars.

Solar

The Solis comes standard with a 220-Watt flexible solar panel allowing you to spend more time off the grid. The single panel system is fitted to the top of the pop-top roof for a sleek and unique look and power is provided by 2 deep-cycle Group 31 batteries.

Interior Features

When you step inside the 2021 Winnebago Solis the first thing you notice is the thoughtfully designed interior that maximizes space and provides ample storage. The dinette features automotive-grade seating with three-point belts, perfect for bringing friends or family along on your adventures.

From the 2-burner range top to the Stainless steel sink, you’ll enjoy cooking in the spacious galley of the Solis. The built-in single door compressor-driven refrigerator/freezer keeps things fresh and can easily be accessed from outside when the side door is open.

Aside from the pop-top sleeping area, the Solis also has a 59″x77″ Murphy+ bed that can sleep 2. When you are not using the bed simply fold it up and you have access to storage below as well as a large storage compartment in the floor. An optional sofa/bed is also available that provides additional seating as well as sleeping accommodations.

The on-board 31″x24″ wet bath with includes a swiveling cassette toilet and flexible showerhead. When you are not using the bathroom, a removable clothes rod allows you to use the bathroom as a closet for your clothes and gear.

Exterior Features

The exterior features on the Solis are designed with the outdoor enthusiast in mind. Two exterior wash stations come standard, one located behind the passenger seat and one in the rear of the RV, perfect for washing your gear after a day of adventure. The rear wash station features a water control panel with an easy-to-read freshwater tank sight glass, control valves, connection points, and the Eco-Hot™ water system. The wash station can also be used as an outside shower with the rod and privacy screen that connects between the two rear doors. The shower rod also works great as a clothesline for hanging wetsuits, clothes, or any other gear you want to dry.
