Chassis
The Vita is built on the proven Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter chassis with it’s 3.0L 6-cylinder, 188-hp, turbo-diesel engine and 5-speed automatic tip-shift transmission. The vita comes in two different floorpans, the 24F and 24P both which feature slide outs. The exterior dimensions of the Vita measure 24’7” length, 7’6” wide, and 11’6” tall.
Systems
When stepping inside the cab you’ll notice a Radio/Rearview Monitor System 6.5” LCD color touch screen, handheld remote, iPod®/MP3 input, rear color camera, and Bluetooth®. Power windows, locks, and mirrors all come standard. One of the unique features Winnebago has incorporated into the Vita is the ability to easily install antennas or other hardware. A small port easily allows wires to be fed to the roof without drilling any holes. The Vita comes standard with a 200-watt solar energy system with 2 deep-cycle Group 31 RV batteries, allowing you to spend more time off the grid. It has the largest holding tanks in the class with a 37 gallon fresh water tank, and 41 gallon tanks for both black and grey water.
Interior
Both floorpans on the Vita feature the largest galley and the largest bed in it’s class. The corner bed in the 24F is very large measuring 80” in length, perfect for taller people who often feel cramped in other motorhomes. The 24P has also been designed with taller people in mind, a 60”x75” Queen Bed will fit someone up to 6’4” comfortably.
Winnebago listened to it’s customers when designing the galley in the Vita, featuring one of the largest in it’s class. Thermoformed countertops and decorative backsplash keep a modern look to the interior. Cooking in the Vita is covered by 3-burner range top and Microwave/convection oven. A residential large Double-door 7.3 cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer gives you plenty of room to store food while on the road. The refrigerator is Energy Star rated and uses very little power allowing you to go several days on just the coach batteries.
Exterior
The Fiberglass SuperShell™on the Vita is designed to be strong, lightweight and quiet. The two part mold with injected EPS foam creates insulation and cuts down on the rattling and noise typically found on cabover RV’s. The Vita features over 40 cubic feet of exterior storage which is a lot for a coach of it’s size. There are four exterior color options to choose from. A standard paint or deluxe paint with either a Canyon or Pacific graphics.
