First Look: 2020 Winnebago Boldt
The Winnebago Boldt is an all-new Class B camper van for 2020. Inspired by German explorer and naturalist Alexander Von Humboldt, the Boldt is made for adventure. Built on the new Mercedes-Benz VS30 Chassis with the exclusive Pure3 Advanced Energy System, the Boldt is the perfect blend of innovation and comfort. Below are some of the main features that make the Boldt a perfect four-season motorhome.
Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter VS30 Chassis
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter VS30 Chassis is loaded with advanced technologies and safety systems such as blind-spot monitoring, active brake assist, rain sensor, and auto-high beam assist just to name a few. A 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine paired with 7-gear Tronic automatic transmission provides a great blend of power and fuel efficiency. The Boldt is also available in a 4×4 option.
MBUX Infotainment System
First introduced in Mercedes cars, the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) Infotainment System has made it’s way over to the new VS30 chassis. Considered to be one of the best infotainment systems on the market, it is packed with features such as 10.25″ touchscreen, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, GPS navigation, and more.
Another big feature of the MBUX system is voice control. Simply say “Hey Mercedes” and you can control a number of functions, ranging from the navigation system, radio, climate control, and more.
Flex Bed System
The Flex Bed System allows you to quickly and easily convert the bedroom or living area into sleeping accommodations. Both floorplans feature twin beds that can be converted into a single queen-size bed using the new and easy-to-use metal slat bed system. The 70BL floorplan features a dinette that can be converted into a single sleeper bed.
Pure³ Advanced Energy System
Spend more time off the grid and less time being connected to shore power with the Pure³ Advanced Energy System. The system provides 11,600 watt-hours of power, allowing you to take your RV anywhere. The Pure³ system also allows you to charge on the go and stay connected as you move.
RAM® Tough-Track™ Mounts
RAM® Tough-Track™ Mounts are a clean, clever, and innovative way to mount multiple devices throughout the coach. The Tough-Track Mounts allow you to attach electronics, storage, and other travel accessories.
4-Season Insulation
A new state-of-the-art 4-Season insulation throughout the coach allows you to travel year-round without sacrificing comfort. The new insulation keeps the coach cool in the summer and warm through the fall and winter making the Boldt a perfect all-season motorhome.
